What Happens in a Free Discovery Session?

Reaching out to a coach can feel like a big step. Maybe this page has been open in a tab for a week. Maybe you've started to book and talked yourself out of it. If that's you, you're in good company.

A Discovery Session is a free, 30-minute conversation with one purpose: to see whether we're the right fit. Here's what to expect.

We get to know each other

I'll share a little about myself and how I work. You'll share a little about you: what's going on, what's been hard, and what you're hoping might change. Share as much or as little as you like.

We talk about what you want

Many people arrive knowing what isn't working but not yet sure what they want instead. That's okay. We'll start putting words to it together, whether it's finishing projects, managing time, feeling less overwhelmed, or understanding your brain better.

You ask me anything

How does coaching work? How often would we meet? What does it cost? What if I've tried things before and they didn't stick? Bring every question.

We decide together

Coaching works best when the fit is right, for both of us. At the end, we'll talk honestly about whether working together makes sense. If it does, we'll map out next steps. If it doesn't, that's completely fine. No pressure, no sales pitch, no obligation.

What you don't need

  • A formal ADHD diagnosis

  • A clear goal or plan

  • Anything prepared in advance

Just come as you are. If you'd like, take a minute beforehand to think about one thing you'd love to be different six months from now.

The first step is the hardest

I know firsthand how much one conversation with the right coach can change. Years ago, working with a coach of my own reshaped how I saw my work, my goals, and my relationships. It started with a single conversation, too.
